We are delighted to be joined by Maria Turner and her son and carer, Rhys Dalton, from the USA. Maria was diagnosed with younger onset dementia at aged 48. This session will look at the challenges this presented from Maria. Rhys will explore the role and impact of being a young man, in the early stages of his career and life, who is also now taking on the responsibility of caring for his mother. Their personal stories aim to highlight the reason conferences such as this exist. We hope that you can take motivation from this session to continue working hard in your role, whether that be as a professional or a carer.
